Live Jazz Series
Hotel Rex presents Live Jazz Series Friday nights from 6-8 pm in the Hotel Rex Lobby and Bar area. Jazz artists alternate weekly between performers including classical guitarist Erik Radkiewicz.
Joie de Vivre Gives
Joie de Vivre Hotels is a grass roots organization that strives to have a positive impact on our community. Each of our hotels is dedicated to donating at a minimum $200 per guest room per year to organizations in their communities.
As an extension of Joie de Vivre Gives, each hotel participates in the You Can Make a Difference program launched in April of 2008. The primary objective is to engage our guests by giving them the option to add an additional $1 of their total bill for each night they stay with us. Guests are able to opt out of this program at check-out.
Hotel Rex’s philanthropic partner in the You Can Make a Difference program is 826 Valencia where they are dedicated to supporting underprivileged students who need that extra support and enthusiasm to improve their writing skills. They believe that strong writing skills and getting students excited about the joys of writing will lead to future success.
